Terms of service

1. What Moonpost is
Moonpost (the Software) is self-hosted automation software that you download, install, and run on your own computer. It downloads videos from links you provide and publishes them to an Instagram account you control, on a schedule you configure. Moonpost is operated by an independent developer. It is not affiliated with TikTok, ByteDance, Instagram, Meta, or Telegram.
2. Your licence and plan limits
When you purchase a plan you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Software within your plan's limits: Starter covers up to 50 posts a day; Pro covers unlimited posts and the full feature set; and Agency covers the full feature set plus done-with-you setup, priority support and early feature access. Exceeding plan limits requires an upgrade. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share the Software or your licence, or reverse-engineer it except where the law expressly permits.
3. Subscriptions and cancellation
Starter, Pro and Agency are billed monthly or annually until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. Refunds are governed by the refund policy.
4. Acceptable use and content rights
You must only post content you own or are licensed or otherwise authorised to distribute. You are solely responsible for your content and for complying with the terms of service, community guidelines and applicable laws of every platform you use. We may terminate, without refund, licences used for repeated copyright infringement or unlawful content. See the DMCA and copyright policy.
5. Platform risk and no guarantees
The Software automates actions on third-party platforms using unofficial methods. Those platforms may restrict, flag or ban accounts at their sole discretion. You accept this risk. We do not guarantee account safety, reach, growth, uptime of third-party services, or that the Software will remain functional if platforms change. Results shown on this site are individual examples, not promises.
6. Disclaimer of warranty
The Software is provided AS IS and AS AVAILABLE, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or account restrictions arising from your use of the Software. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Support and updates
Your plan includes access to updates and the support level described on the pricing page while your subscription is active.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
